The plumbing is complete. Well, actually it was almost all wrong. There was no stop valve for the outside tap, the waste pipe was too high, and the gas pipe was in the wrong place (out of picture to the right). Lesson learned: watch the bloody plumber like a hawk, and don't take any bullshit excuses.
